In this lesson we were split in to three groups and using the field recorders, excel cables and boom microphones we tried to record some "clean audio". By this we mean audio which has as little background or ambient sound apparent in the recording. We learnt how to change the levels on the recorders, plugging the cables into the different inputs and mic positioning. Below is a link to the audio we managed to record from the film 'Ferris Buelers Day Off' the audio is quite clean however you could hear slight background noise and the words sounded broken up or distorted.
